Kris Rathe started with Cryin’ Creek Candles, an extensive line of scented candles. She also carries a wide variety of Nebraska products for sale, food, jewelry, purses, and home décor. It’s a great place to do some gift shopping and contribute to Nebraska’s economy, while enjoying a rustic, country atmosphere.  In addition to making the best smelling candles on the planet, we are also a full-service lounge!  We carry a large selection of domestic and import beers, liquors and Nebraska wines.

We're located on the Lorensen/Rathe Farm, in Grandma's old farmhouse, which has been remodeled a bit to accommodate our guests! Grandma would be proud of our cozy, comfortable atmosphere.  The farmhouse is nestled in a little valley just southeast of Weeping Water, Nebraska. We're a half-mile down a country road, surrounded by cattle pastures and crop fields. You might just see some of the many deer, turkey, fox, and coyotes that roam around the property.
